Parafin is an award winning, generative design platform that’s transforming real estate development. By instantly generating and evaluating millions of potential building designs, budgets, and investment models, Parafin allows real estate developers to test the feasibility of a site in seconds instead of months.

Parafin is looking to bring on a visionary team member to help shape our cutting-edge generative design platform.  This person will have a foundation in AEC with a strong background in visual scripting and programming.  You will be working with the founding team to assist in setting the direction, vision, and implementation for new product development.

The role

• Team Lead / Generative Design
• Develop GD tools, workflows, and solutions
• Set a clear vision of GD methodologies for new products
• Explore and prototype new solutions to empower Parafin’s customers
• Work with engineering team to deploy these solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to set product vision
• Strong visual scripting skills including Grasshopper and Dynamo
• Experience in software development and coding, Python is preferred
• Ability to learn other coding languages as needed
• Degree in Architecture or Engineering
• Ability to work in an agile environment with repositories
• Ability to work remote

Preferred Qualifications

• JS, React, Revit API & plugin development experience
